2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: Hey, Seoul Sister When the Ioniq 5 N hatchback launched in 2024, Hyundai gave it an absurd assignment. Besides delivering usable driving range and furiously quick DC fast charging capability (top priorities for most EVs), it also had to entertain. So they created a faux internal-combustion mode, complete with virtual gearshifts and exterior speakers blaring bratty four-cylinder-esque noises to support the act. But even if you drove the 5 N in silent EV mode, it was uncommonly fun. The Ioniq 6 N arrives with the guts of the 5 N, but it is a better experience overall. The 6 N has a lower center of gravity and drag coefficient, uses the latest Pirelli summer tires, and gets revised steering and suspension to amp up feedback and responsiveness.
