Fiat is adding two EVs to its electric lineup

Aim EV Sport Concept Is Small but Mighty Showcase for Designer Shiro Nakamura      The Goodwood Festival of Speed had long ago become an event where automakers showcase new concepts, and this year will not disappoint when it comes to EVs. Among the things we'll see there for the first time will be a rear-wheel-drive electric coupe designed by Shiro Nakamura, Nissan's former global design head.    Dubbed the Aim EV Sport 01, the coupe promises 483 hp and a relatively light curb weight for an electric car despite a rather large battery—or rather batteries—adding up to 81 kWh. READ THE FULL STORY European Manufacturers Are Flocking to Adopt NACS      Tesla's Supercharger network is getting ready to supercharge a great many other EVs starting next year, with a rush of automaker announcements over the past few weeks revealing plans to adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS). The emerging picture paints nothing short of a seismic shift in the charging landscape, and not just because Tesla owners will be seeing other EVs at Supercharger stations for the first time.     For one thing, two charging network operators, including Volkswagen's Electrify America, are moving to adopt NACS connectors, which will help Tesla owners as well.    Volvo and Polestar became the latest automakers to signal their intention to adopt NACS in the coming months, and it sounds like more could be on the way. READ THE FULL STORY Should These Two Electric Fiats Be Offered Here?      Just a few days ago Fiat revealed two new electric models, but only one of them is what we'd consider a family EV.    The first is the Fiat 600e crossover pictured above, styled not too dissimilarly from the 500X we've come to know over the years.
