BMW M Built an M2 EV Mule 'Beast' With the Neue Klasse EVs around the corner, Munich's sports car division has been documenting its EV efforts with a YouTube series dubbed BMW M Electrified, peeling back the curtain on its engineering work. And it turns out that not that long ago, BMW M built a mule or testbed vehicle based on the M2, with an electric drivetrain. The only problem was, it was too unruly of a car and was difficult to control.
