2025 Porsche Macan EV Adds a Rear-Drive Entry Point The battery-electric Porsche Taycan sedan quickly found a spot for itself in what became a very busy segment, facing plenty of pressure from the likes of Lucid, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and others. And now it's the turn of the electric Macan, with the model arriving this year in dual- and single-motor flavors. But will there be an affordable entry point? The rear-wheel-drive Macan could be that model, ditching the front motor and relying solely on a 335-hp unit out back. But it won't be all that much cheaper than a dual-motor Macan. Porsche is also rolling out the Macan 4S with a more powerful motor in the rear in addition to the one up front, for those who may find the standard dual-motor version too mild. Here's how much these new versions of the Macan will cost buyers, and what they will offer. |
