The potential advantages of solid-state batteries are familiar to most EV enthusiasts by now, with this battery tech promising quicker recharge times, greater energy density, lighter weight, and greater thermal safety.
But even with a number of automakers and battery developers working on several designs, we're still not seeing them in production vehicles.
One German supplier now plans to bring a solid-state battery to CES, and has talked to Autoweek regarding the timeline for their introduction in production models.
