Former Lordstown Motors CEO Is Back in the Saddle The Lordstown Endurance saga isn't over. The former GM factory in Ohio hosted an ambitious electric pickup truck production effort was aimed at revitalizing the plant and the region, before it all went sideways. You might recall that the plant itself was purchased by Foxconn at one point, with the electronics giant planning to produce a number of EVs there, including a future Fisker model. The factory is still there, and so is the tooling for the Endurance. And those assets have just been bought by the former CEO of Lordstown Motors. But is there still a market for the pickup truck itself, now that there are offerings from Ford and Rivian on the market? |
