President Biden's First Federally Funded EV Charger Is Now Running
EV charging infrastructure, or lack thereof, is still one of the main impediments to greater electric vehicle adoption. A number of efforts are currently underway to change the current, depressing picture by several major stakeholders, including the automakers themselves. But at some point, more government action will be needed, just as it had been at other crucial points in the development of our nation's transportation network.
Earlier this week the White House revealed that the first federally funded charger is now online, part of a wide-reaching network that will be built in the coming years just for EVs.
