The Kia EV9 Sports Rotating Seats and Big Screens If you liked the Kia EV9 in concept form when we saw it 2021, you're going to love it in production guise as well. That's because seemingly little was lost in the translation, with Kia revealing the exterior design and some of the interior features of the upcoming 2024 model this week. The exterior keeps the sharp bodywork we saw on the concept, with plenty of 45-degree angles and flared wheel arches—a welcome respite from the bumper crop of slabby sides some of its competitors continue to offer. The front fascia, meanwhile, gently evolves Kia's design language while keeping a family resemblance to the Telluride. In fact, that's what the EV9 will strive to offer—all the amenities of the Telluride with an electric powertrain underneath. But the real surprise is perhaps inside, with Kia looking to the past for a seat feature you won't find in any other electric crossover or SUV these days. VW Previews an EV That Will Cost under €25,000 Volkswagen is selling a bunch of its EVs stateside, but it's not selling all of them. The ID.3 hatch has stayed on the other side of the Atlantic amid quite a bit of demand for the model on its home turf. But could the US get an even more affordable electric hatchback in the near future, with a price tag below €25,000, or about $26,500? This week VW took the wraps off the ID. 2all concept, positioned even below the Golf in size, but promised to offer all the interior space of the legendary hatch. Intended as a front-wheel drive, single-motor EV, the ID. 2all concept also promises a range just below 300 miles, at least in the WLTP cycle. "The production version of the ID. 2all is one of ten new electric models that will be launched by Volkswagen by 2026," the automaker says. "This year alone sees the introduction of the new ID.3, the ID. Buzz with long wheelbase and the ID.7 saloon." Audi to Build Just 75 of Its "project_513/2" RS e-tron GTs The Audi RS e-tron GT already has quite a bit going for it, with 590 hp on tap and launch times around the 3.0-second mark. But it's probably not a car that visually jumps out in traffic, with Audi giving it a rather conservative look despite the flared wheel arches. And it's not very loud either, for obvious reasons. Those looking to make their RS e-tron GT stand out a bit more in traffic could opt for a loud color. Or they could opt for the exclusive camouflage that prototypes of the car wore during development, which is not something that Audi has offered before. Audi plans to offer just 75 of these special edition models with this graphics and equipment package, called "project_513/2," and it includes unique 21-inch wheels and a host of other visual details inside and out.
