Toyota is getting serious about its EV lineup ⚡️

Toyota Launching Two EVs, One with a New Name      The Toyota bZ4X hasn't been around all that long, it seems, but it's already getting a refresh and a new name.    Toyota revealed updates to its electric crossover this week, now dubbed simply bZ, which will be headlined by a new 74.7-kWh battery that will offer more range, stretching just above the 300-mile mark. And a smaller, 57.7-kWh battery will also be on the menu in a FWD trim that should be a bit more affordable when it lands here.    But the bZ won't be the only Toyota EV on sale here soon.    Here's what else the automaker has in the works for the 2026 model year. READ THE FULL STORY House Budget Bill Would Kill Credits for New and Used EVs      The $7,500 tax credit has been spurring EV sales for quite some time, helping offset the higher prices of electric vehicles in the US. The credit itself has gone through changes in the past few years but has largely survived for those who may need it most.    But now, a new House budget bill could see the credit for new and used EVs go away by the end of the year.     If this bill passes, it will have wide-reaching effects on the EV industry, including the decision-making to develop and offer certain models in the US. READ THE FULL STORY 2026 BMW iX Is Refreshingly Fast, Fun, and Functional      Munich's electric SUV has now been on sale since 2021, and this means it's already time for a mid-cycle refresh, or Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) as BMW calls it.     Among other things, the iX will get a boost in range, with the top model in this metric set to offer just above 360 miles. And gains in power are on the menu as well for the three different versions of the iX that BMW will offer, including the sporty M70 xDrive model.    But will BMW raise prices for the iX given the rapidly changing tariff landscape in the auto industry at the moment?    Here's what the automaker told us.
