Volvo kicked off its Cross Country lineup back in the 1990s with a more rugged version of its V70, over time giving a variety of its wagons and SUVs an off-road flavor. But its next Cross Country model will be the most distinctive one yet, with the EX30 hatch gaining some ground clearance, skid plates, and other items for some weekend hiking trips that won't venture too far from an electrical outlet.
