Kia Concept EV4 Is a Wild Take on the Traditional Sedan

This week Kia took the wraps off two new EV concepts, dubbed EV3 and EV4, at the company's EV Day event in South Korea.
While the EV3 hatch previews a pocket-sized crossover, the EV4 is a look at a future compact sedan. And out of the two, the latter perhaps has the best chance of making it stateside.
The exterior styling of the EV4 may seem like the main event, but the interior is even more surprising, keeping with the gold exterior theme. After the countless EVs with black plastic interiors, the EV4's cabin is a breath of fresh air. And it doesn't even have a yoke steering, in another surprise.
It's safe to say that Kia intends to produce most of the concepts it has shared so far as part of its EV blitz, but it might not bring all of them to all of its main EV markets.
Just how likely are we to see a production version of this EV in the states?

Tesla Now Offers Wraps, and They're Not Cheap

Vinyl wraps have become popular in recent years, making customizing a car's looks a lot simpler than having to get a high-quality repaint.
And after years of seeing wrapped Teslas on the road, Tesla itself has decided to offer vinyl wraps as a service center option for the Model 3 and the Model Y.
But they're not exactly cheap.
Of course, there are a couple of ways to look at vinyl wraps: They're either an inexpensive way to change your car's color and to protect its paint, or they're a very expensive alternative to just picking your favorite color from the start.

Tesla doesn't offer many paint choices for the Model 3 and the Model Y—just five in fact—with one of them being a no-cost option and the others ranging in price from $1000 to $2000.

Driving the 2024 Lucid Air Sapphire Will Make You Believe in Miracles

For a while the Tesla Model S Plaid reigned as the top EV performance sedan, even though in standard form the sedan already offered plenty of thrills.
But now Fremont's Plaid flagship has been upstaged by a newcomer, with Lucid Motors delivering the top version of the Air sedan.
Promising 1234 hp and 1430 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of not two but three motors, even on paper this sedan strains credulity and the wallet, with a sticker price of $250,500.
To find out whether its claimed performance is indeed all that has been promised, we took it to California's Sonoma Raceway to do a few laps and a few launches at the dragstrip.
