92-year-old grandfather has a penchant for rescuing and resurrecting big, old trucks, such as Macks, Internationals and the sole surviving Klondike.

For 1979, Mustang now featured crisp, hard-edge lines that not only improved the looks of the pony car, but also made it more aerodynamic. In addition, the new Mustang was bigger inside and out than the previous Pinto subcompact-based Mustang II of 1974 to 1978, as the 1979 Mustang now shared the new and larger Fox-body platform with other Ford models.

Introduced in early 1985, the sporty, new Subaru XT sport coupe was offered in three trim levels: DL and GL, both of which were front-wheel drive, and the 4WD Turbo. XT styling was dramatic with a wedge-shape profile using a sharp, low nose, a low roof, a high trunk and large wheel openings.
