Glen Hill, the exhibit's guest curator, has owned his 1967 G.T350 for 40+ years. Over that time, he restored the car to factory condition, which required locating a correct engine and a variety of additional parts.
Larry Schaffer purchased his 1965 new. It was stolen in the mid-1970s and returned to him approximately 35 years later through the assistance of SAAC.
The final presenter, Chuck Cantwell, is a Shelby American employee who served as the project engineer for design and development of the G.T.350 program in 1965. His blue 1966 G.T.350 shows the evolution of the first-year design. His experiences provide an intimate, first-person perspective into this fascinating period of automotive history.
