It's no secret that Asbury Automotive Group has a chunk of auto dealerships it aims to sell. This story today says Asbury unloaded Nalley Chevrolet near Atlanta on Aug. 5.
Overall, Asbury had $206.6 million worth of assets held for sale as of June 30, according to its second-quarter regulatory filing.

Meanwhile, we have two in-depth stories today about the latest U.S. vehicle registration reports from S&P Global Mobility. Reporter Laurence Iliff found gains in U.S. EV registrations, but not for market leader Tesla Inc. EV registrations rose 3.1 percent in June but fell 2.4 percent for Tesla. Of course, Tesla still dominates the market, selling almost 61,000 EVs in June, the most recent data available.
Lots of flashy-looking concept vehicles are debuting this week at Monterey Car Week in California. The wraps came off this futuristic Cadillac Opulent Velocity EV concept at noon today.
