Spotlight on Day 7: A Visit to the Mercedes Benz Factory & Museum
|
No automotive adventure in Germany would be complete without a stop at the Mercedes-Benz Factory and Museum, both located in Stuttgart. The museum is unlike any building you'll ever see — a dazzling "double helix" landmark with 178,000 sq. ft. of room that has been turned into a home for more than 160 spectacular vehicles. See some of the earliest and most important automobiles ever built in a fantastic, ultra-modern setting.
The massive factory in Sindelfingen is home to more than 21,000 employees, who produce CLS, S-Class, E-Class, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach masterpieces. Opened in 2020 but with roots reaching back more than 100 years, the huge assembly plant is one of the most modern facilities of its kind in the world. See for yourself why car fanatics come from all over the globe pilgrimage to this Mecca of the Mercedes brand. |
