The Porsche Taycan has been on sale for a while now, with Porsche having kicked off its electric lineup with a compelling four-door sedan, joined later by the Cross Turismo wagon. But its EPA range ratings, early on, may not have been the most compelling part of the whole package. Now that it's time for a major refresh for 2025, Porsche has tweaked not only the Taycan's exterior, but has also overhauled the powertrain and battery lineup.
The result is a boost in performance and range, along with a new Turbo GT model that's set to offer 1019 hp. But these updates don't come without a boost in price as well, with the Turbo S in particular breaking a very notable barrier. Here's what to expect from the refreshed 2025 Taycan lineup this summer.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is easily one of the most unique EVs out there, having looked to the streamlined cars of decades past for design inspiration. And it has also delivered an alternative to the Tesla Model 3, which has had the segment almost all to itself for quite some time.
But if you're shopping an EV in that particular size and price category, you've probably noticed long ago that more power and more options come with some notable tradeoffs. And this is true for the Ioniq 6 as well.
The Mustang Mach-E and the F-150 Lightning already cover a couple of popular segments for Ford when it comes to electric models. And the Explorer EV developed with Volkswagen has just gone on sale across the Atlantic. But its next EVs may take a little longer to arrive than originally planned, including a next-generation electric truck and a three-row electric SUV that was scheduled to arrive in 2025. Here's why Ford's EV plans are changing.
