2025 Gravity SUV Will Make Lucid an Electric Power Player Lucid Motors launched its first EV two years ago with the impressive and expensive Air sedan, offering a full-charge range that bested the entire EV landscape. Now it's time for the EV maker's second model. Lucid Motors took the wraps off the Gravity SUV this week, revealing a sleek addition to its lineup that also promises plenty of power and range. "The Gravity SUV represents a significant leap forward for Lucid's world-leading technology and design," said Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid. "Customers will find an unprecedented combination of space and maneuverability, luxury, and versatility, all seamlessly integrated into one remarkable vehicle with the driving experience and range of a true Lucid." Here's What Mercedes' Luxury Charging Hub Offers The EV charging landscape has been devoid of glamour since the get go, and finding a working charger these days can feel like you've struck oil (pun intended). Mercedes wants to change thinkgs with a new network of fast-charging stations that will have all the conveniences of airline lounges, complete with couches, refreshments, and restrooms. The automaker has opened the first of these charging hubs in Georgia, but soon they'll spread to other parts of the country, with plans for hundreds of these around the US. One other important part will be the charging speeds themselves. Mercedes is promising up to 400 kW—faster than most EVs on the market today can even absorb. Polestar 5 EV, Due in 2025, Revealed in Final Form Polestar's Precept concept previewed a sleek and chiseled four-door in 2020, hinting at the EV brand's future flagship. Now, that future flagship is almost here as Polestar pulls the wraps off the production version to be badged Polestar 5, promising a dual-motor layout with well over 800 hp and a generous 103.0-kWh battery.
