Cars of the Week: A trio of long lost brass-era cars found Headline Here

From a picture on the wall to his garage, hobbyist finds his grandfather's long lost brass-era cars.

For 30 of his 32 years, James Steinberg of Oshkosh, Wis., says a picture frame with three old photos of early cars has hung in his bedroom. In January 2022, those very three cars became permanently parked in his garage.

Through those old photos on his wall, Steinberg became charmed by early cars at an early age. It wasn't until he was older that he learned the picture depicted just a few cars once part of his great-grandfather's collection. And what a collection it was.

Old Cars We'd Buy That: 1969 Dodge Daytona Hemi

Not that we could afford it, but we would love to have the winged-warrior Daytona in our garage. Yes, we'd buy that!

OK, let's be honest. We had no shot at the hottest girl in our high school class. The captain of the cheerleading squad was just out of our league.

And so is this car. But it never hurts to dream.

If we were ever going to buy a '69 Hemi Daytona, this is the one! It's Dark Green inside and out, it's loaded with just about every goodie you could order on one of these winged legends, and it's one of only 22 Hemi Daytonas with a 4-speed. In fact, the listing for the car states it is "the most highly optioned Hemi Daytona known to exist."
