Car of the Week: 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country convertible

Car of the Week: 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country convertible

When only a Chrysler Town & Country convertible will do! One owner's quest to find his special Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country convertible.

My quest for this 1984 Chrysler LeBaron Town and Country convertible started in the summer of 1985, when my wife and I went to the Chrysler dealer in Hamilton Township, outside of Trenton, N.J., one evening to look at what they had in stock. We thought a convertible would be fun, and the dealer had one on the showroom floor. We looked at it and sat in it, but no one came to help us, so we walked out. As we left, we saw the sales people looking out the window at us.

Old Cars We'd Buy That: 1963 Buick Riviera

What's not to love about a black '63 Riviera? We sure would buy that!

Full disclosure: We LOVE 1963 Rivieras. A few years ago we got a ride in one for a photo shoot and a feature story on  a car with an interesting background. Immediately, the '63 Riv went on the bucket list of cars we'd love to own some day.

This one is a fantastic 48,000-mile beauty with all the right stuff and finished in gorgeous black. Geez, these were nice cars!! We wouldn't change a thing!
